To avail of this service, follow the simple steps as mentioned below:
Step 1 - Download mChek application on mobile phone.
Step 2 – Activate mChek Application
Once you receive the wap link to download the application you need to choose the mChek PIN.
The service is currently not available for CDMA (Reliance & Tata Indicom) customers.
Step 3 – Apply for mChek service
Apply for mChek services through Standard Chartered Bank.
Step 4 – Issuance of Standard Chartered Bank VISA card on mChek
Standard Chartered Bank will process your request and issue Standard Chartered Bank VISA card on mChek. The issuing of the card will be at sole discretion of Standard Chartered Bank.
Step 5 – Card Delivery
Once the card is issued, you will be intimated of the same through an SMS on your mobile number registered with the Bank.
Step 6 – Transactions
Incase you wish to pay for the goods or services at any mChek affiliated merchant outlet, all you need to do is to choose mChek as the payment option.
You need to provide the mobile number to the merchant to initiate the payment for the transaction done by you. You will receive a request for payment on your mobile number registered with us. To confirm the payment, you need to provide the mChek PIN and select Standard Chartered Bank as payment option.
Step 7 – Confirmation
You will receive a payment confirmation on your mobile number.
