Q. Is there a membership fee for Excel Banking?

No. There is no membership fee for Excel Banking. Please note: The waivers on minimum quarterly average balance requirements for savings accounts and current accounts are available to customers who maintain a customer level balance of Rs. 500,000 or more across their savings accounts, current accounts, term deposits and mutual funds (AUM) bought through the Bank.

Q. Is there a penalty for not maintaining the required customer balance for Excel? What are the implications for the same? OR Will I be charged an account maintenance fee in case I do not maintain the required balances? What are the fees involved?

Customers not maintaining the required product level quarterly average balances for the respective product would be liable for an account maintenance fee as per the schedule of service charges.

The minimum quarterly average balance requirements for savings and current accounts are as follows: Rs. 50,000 for SuperValue Savings Accounts, Rs. 25,000 for aXcess Plus Savings accounts, Rs. 100,000 for Enhanced Business Plus Current accounts and Rs. 50,000 for Business Plus Current Accounts.
