Q. What is the Rewards program on e-transactions?
Standard Chartered Bank is offering its savings account customers reward points on a host of electronic
debit transactions. These reward points can be accumulated over the year and received as a cash-back**, where 1 reward point = 1INR.
Q. Who is eligible for the Rewards program?
The Rewards Programme would be offered to our Savings Account customers maintaining the minimum required
average quarterly balance.
Q. What are e-transactions?
Electronic financial transactions carried out using any of the electronic channels such as ATM, Standing Instructions, Electronic Clearing Service, Internet Banking are called e-transactions.
Q. What is the condition for redeeming reward points?
A minimum of 500 reward points should be accumulated for redemption.
Q. Which e-transactions are eligible for rewards under the Rewards program?

Q. When will the customer get the cash back**?
The cash back** amount will be credited into the bank account of the customer on request placed with
Phone Banking team by the customer.
Q.Is there a cap on the maximum number of points that can be earned on Standard Chartered Bank ATM
Financial transactions and Online Banking Financial transactions?
Yes, the maximum number of points that can be earned per month on Standard Chartered Bank ATM Financial
transactions is 20 and on Online Banking Financial transactions is 30.
Q. How long does the cash back** take after the customer has called Phone Banking?
The cash will be credited into the account of the customer within 5 working days after a request
to redeem reward points is made by the customer with the Phone Banking team.
Q. How will the reward points be calculated?
The reward points for e-transactions are calculated from the table as given in the first part of FAQs.
All other reward programmes announced by the bank are separate and their limits and
eligibility cannot be clubbed with this offering.
Q. What is the validity of the reward points?
Reward points earned during a year (from 1st January to 31st December of a year) are valid till June 30th
of the next year and should be redeemed within this period.

Q. Will the current reward points on Debit Card POS spends at merchant establishments continue?
Yes, the current reward and loyalty programme on Debit Card POS spends at merchant establishments will continue in addition to Points for e-transactions.
Q. Is there a cap on the maximum number of points that can
be earned on Standard Chartered Bank ATM Financial transactions and Online Banking Financial transactions?
Yes, the maximum number of points that can be earned per
month on Standard Chartered Bank ATM Financial transactions is 20 and on Online Banking Financial transactions
